Today I write in English in honour of Adam Kilgarriff. It was a shock to hear the news of his passing. Adam was a renowned linguist, working with language corpora, word frequency distributions and corpus interfaces, among many other things. I first knew Adam in Oslo, Norway, in a Euralex conference.
